Townsfolk Tales

All small towns have a story to tell. How was the town formed? Who named it? Who was the first resident? Who lives here? What are they like? All these questions, and more. Our living history faction are a group of settlers creating a life for themselves in Pecos, Texas. They've had a long journey from England to the Americas; some are having the time of their lives, others are finding hardship. Ask any of our characters about themselves and their stories if you see us on camp. Some of our re-enactors have been kind enough to donate their stories for your entertainment and inspiration.

I'm Rich and I own the towns local news paper 'The Frontier Citizen'. As well as owning the paper, I earn a living by writing a range of articles and providing all the news from town to town.

I'm Sheriff Edwards and I keep all of my citizens safe by ensuring peace and harmony throughout the town. I've done this job for years, and although many have tried, no one  else has been better than me.

Ranch Life with Wyoming

I'm Wyoming and I own a ranch here in Pecos. I used to run it with my husband, but now it's just me. I want to show all the other ladies out there that any job is possible if you put the elbow grease in.
